US: Israeli citizen arrested for credit card trafficking

WASHINGTON — The US Justice Department says a credit card trafficker, who is a citizen of Israel and Ukraine, was arrested in France for allegedly selling stolen credit card information .

The department says French authorities worked with the US Secret Service and arrested Vladislav Anatolievich Horohorin as he attempted to board a flight to return to Moscow.

Horohorin — whose online name is "BadB" — is being detained in France pending extradition to the United States.

Court documents say Horohorin sold the unauthorized credit card information to Secret Service agents via websites.

He sold more than 15 credit card account numbers issued to other people that had been lost, stolen, expired, revoked, canceled or obtained for illegitimate purposes, according to a Washington indictment.
