Following the attack on the gadol hador shlita, HaGaon HaRav
Aaron Yehuda Leib Shteinman Shlita in his home on Wednesday morning 19
Cheshvan, an atzeres will be held in the Torah city.
When asked how to respond to the deplorable assault, HaGaon
HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita called for an atzeres protest. The event is set
for Wednesday night at the intersection of Landau and Nechemia Streets in the
city, not far from the rosh yeshiva’s home. No time is being announced at
present.
It is reported that the Rosh Kollel of Rav Rothschild in
Ramat Aaron moved aside the paroches of the Aaron Kodesh, sat on the ground and
wept, stating “We have not seen an act like this since the days of Yirmiyahu”.

Shteinman Shlita is a son of a rosh kollel in Modi’in Illit. He is married to a
teacher and they have children. He learned in the Tifrach Yeshiva.
